This mink model is the first ever produced and has since become a favorite. It was created at the request of the guitar amp builder and repairman Dane Hodgkinson, founder of DBHandcrafted to see how good Camphor Laurel and Paulownia would behave as guitar tonewoods. Dane has been innovating with amplifier building by introducing Camphor Laurel as the main component of the speaker cabinets. His amps have an incredible punch and response. He has been working closely with the best and most informed Camphor Laurel local millers to get the best possible cuts and have them carefully dried and dressed. This guitar is no different, it’s acoustically very responsive and percussive. The weight is incredibly light and balanced making long hours standing a breeze. The shape was born from the perfect blend between a Tele and an LP with an offset touch.
The two PAFs really gives this guitar its growl! Typical rock machine, this thing can take you anywhere without the weight!
